Rob has certainly been around… in ‘91 he worked in Australia and travelled widely in The States, meeting the local artists and visiting conventions. Upon his return to Finland, he worked in a friend’s back room for a while, before finally opening a shop of his own, two years ago, at tattoo girl.

Four out of the five studios present were in this room. Just inside the door, on the left was the Hastings Tattoo Centre, busily adding some extras to a back piece. Further down the wall were Skin Graphics, alongside ‘Mr. Personality’ Big Pat Ryalls. And lastly; The Wanderer, who had wandered down from up North.

Bridge over troubled waters
travel from Copenhagen to Malmo by train, along the brand-new Oresund Bridge, an architectonic eccentricity 12 km long that floats over the misty Baltic Sea and links in 20 minutes Denmark and Sweden. I see how the Klagshamm beach is coming, under a milkshake sky, and I repent of not having brought an electric swimming costume and a waterproof bathrobe made of wool.
