Interestingly, the photographs in the exhibition were in monochrome (black & white), and not in colour, as maybe you’d expect. Dale believes that black & white has an edge and power that is not possible with colour.

The rest of the evening was spent in noisy contemplation of the bottom of pint glasses, accompanied by good time rockers Bad Fox, followed by Never the Bride, a female rock duo. I feel that European tattooing has a stronger foundation in an artistic sense than American tattooing. I believe that is partially from exposure from the many museums, architecture and art that is found on every street corner.
